When did you start working in the travel industry?

I began working in travel in 2017 for a cruise specialist, but before that I had my own cruise blog which I used to write travel news and reviews for.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love creating brochures and emails to help generate holiday inspiration for our customers.

Where would you like to visit next?

I would like to visit Asia. It's a continent that I don't have much knowledge on. I would love to experience Japan during the cherry blossom. I want to take a ride on the bullet train and also visit Singapore.

What is your dream holiday destination?

My dream holiday destination would be a visit to the South Pacific on a cruise like Paul Gauguin to see all the various islands or perhaps an expedition cruise to the Polar regions.

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

I booked some customers on an expedition cruise to Norway with Hurtigruten and also a coastal sailing with Havila Voyages. I'm still yet to travel to the far north of Norway.

What were your favourite childhood holidays?

We went away all the time in the UK and Europe, such as trips in the caravan, to Butlins, or spontaneous city breaks taking advantage of low fares.

My Favourite Destination

Norway! It is the most beautiful country and the people are so friendly. Cruising is the best way and most cost-effective way to see the country, especially sailing along the majestic fjords. I love Norway so much, that I am currently learning the language - "Jeg elsker Norge!"

's Top Travel Tips

1) Go with the flow and don't be too fussy.

2) The journey is part of the adventure for me, so even if it's not the most direct route, I'd rather experience something different.

3) Use public transport to get an accurate feel for a place.

's Cruise Tips

1) Book early if you have specific requirements and want the best choice of cabin availability.

2)  If you want a great price and are very flexible with your requirements, booking last minute can be a great way to save on last-minute sailings.

3) If you've sailed on a cruise and didn't like it, that doesn't mean cruising isn't for you, it just means that cruise line wasn't right. There are so many styles of cruise, there WILL be one to suit you, I guarantee.
